Ocean Settings
Wind Settings
Wind Zone — optional Unity Wind Zone reference. If none is set, wind speed and direction are taken from the sliders below.
Wind Speed — base speed of wind affecting waves.

Wind Rotation — wind direction in degrees [0-360].

Wind Turbulence — adds variation and randomness to the wind field.

Waves Settings
Waves Quality — global quality preset for FFT-based waves.

Simulation Cascades — number of FFT cascades combined for the ocean surface. More cascades reduce visible tiling artifacts. High wind speeds require more cascades to capture both small ripples and large swells. Performance impact: each cascade adds extra FFT calculations, so higher values increase GPU cost.

Area Scale — scaling factor for the simulated ocean area.

Foam Settings
Render Foam — controls whether foam rendering is enabled.
Use Quality Settings — follows the global project quality setting for ocean foam (set in Global Water Manager).
Off — disables foam rendering for the ocean, regardless of quality settings.
Ocean Foam Strength — intensity of foam on wave crests and turbulent water.

Ocean Foam Disappear Speed — how quickly foam fades over time.

Foam Texture Type — selects the texture set used for foam patterns.

Foam Texture Contrast — adjusts contrast of the foam texture.

Foam Texture Scale Multiplier — scales the foam texture tiling on the surface.
